About Lauryn Tam, PA-C
Lauryn Tam is a nationally board-certified and state licensed physician assistant. She completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Nutritional Sciences. She previously worked as a medical assistant in dermatology and orthopedics prior to PA school. She completed her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, where she gained a strong foundation in family medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, endocrinology, and rheumatology.
As a PA, Lauryn is passionate about comprehensive care and preventative medicine, optimizing medical treatment to each patient, and establishing long-term patient-provider relationships. She values educating patients to empower them to take a more active role in their own health. She hopes to offer a safe and welcoming space to better build trust with her patients.
Outside of the clinic, Lauryn likes to spend time with her friends and family, stay active through yoga and volleyball, and explore the city!
