Our Approach
Room on the schedule for your first visit
If every office you have called in Weatherford has a waitlist, start here. Our Weatherford office at 2111 Fort Worth Hwy welcomes new adult patients, and we keep room on the schedule so a first visit does not mean waiting weeks. The care is led by physicians board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health, who begin by hearing your history, your medications, and what you want to change. Send us a text before your visit and we will check what your plan covers.
Excellent care and a welcoming environment. The staff is professional, kind, and attentive from the moment you walk in, and the doctors take the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and truly care. Highly recommended for quality medical care in Fort Worth.
Why Choose Us
Why new patients choose us
New Patients Welcome in Weatherford
We are taking new adult patients at 2111 Fort Worth Hwy right now, and we hold openings for first visits rather than filling the calendar months out. That means a doctor in town, not a long drive into Fort Worth.
Adult Specialists
Every one of our four physicians is board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health: years of training in the conditions and medications adults carry. Physician assistants and a family nurse practitioner round out the team.
One Team Across Two Offices
Your records follow you between Weatherford and Fort Worth, so if your provider is out, another member of the group can see you without starting from scratch.
Seen Sooner, Not Months Out
We make it a priority to keep same and next-day openings available Monday through Friday, draw bloodwork in the office with many results during the visit, and offer video visits when coming in is hard.
Conditions We Treat
What we diagnose and manage here
Diabetes Management
Blood sugar plans built around your numbers and your routine, with labs drawn in our office and a diabetic eye exam (retinal screening) available on site.
High Blood Pressure
Regular checks and medication adjustments to get hypertension under control and keep your heart and kidneys protected.
Asthma, COPD & Breathing Problems
Asthma, COPD, bronchitis, pneumonia, and a cough that will not quit, all handled by your primary care team at the Weatherford office.
Chronic Disease Management
One plan for several conditions at once, reviewed together at each visit, so no condition is managed on its own.
Medical Weight Loss
A physician guides the plan, monitors your labs here, and prescribes GLP-1 medications when they fit your health picture.
Colds, Flu & Infections
Sinus and ear infections, UTIs, flu, rashes, and the sudden illness no one plans for. Patients often get in the same or next day, which can spare you an ER visit.
Cholesterol & Heart Risk
Screening and treatment to lower cholesterol and cardiovascular risk, with bloodwork drawn in the office to track your progress.
Thyroid Conditions
Diagnosis, medication, and follow-up labs for underactive and overactive thyroid, folded into your regular primary care.

What Patients Say
What patients at both offices say
Dr. Kankanala is top notch. Knowledgeable, listens to my concerns, explains things clearly, thorough, and never rushed. Very kind, couldn’t ask for a better doctor.
I was very pleased with the attention I received from Dr. Siri and his medical staff. A thorough exam, an understandable evaluation of my needs, and clear recommendations for next steps. Exactly the experience I was hoping for.
Manpreet Rattan is phenomenal. You can tell she truly cares about your health and well-being. A class act, thank you for the care and kindness you show your patients.
Meet Your Providers
The group behind your care in Weatherford
Four Board-Certified Physicians & Their Team
Medical Associates of North Texas is a group practice, and that is a large part of why we have room for new patients. Ravi Siripurapu, MD, Suresh Kankanala, MD, Ganesh Arun, DO, and Chandramohan Mudaliar, MD are all board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health, and they lead a team of physician assistants and a family nurse practitioner.
For a new patient, that group handles the everyday needs: a thorough first visit and physical, bloodwork drawn in the office, a plan for diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, or thyroid if you carry one, prompt care when you get sick, medication reviews, and physician-guided weight loss where it fits.
Because everyone works from one record and one plan, a visit with any provider picks up where the last one ended. Add telehealth and two offices, Weatherford and Fort Worth, to the fact that we prioritize keeping same and next-day openings available, and there is usually a way to be seen.
If you are not sure who to book with, text us and we will match you with the right provider and visit type.

FAQ
New patient questions
Do you accept my insurance?
Most major insurance plans are accepted here. Before your first visit, text or call us and we will check your coverage so nothing surprises you.
How quickly can I be seen?
Sooner than most new patients expect. Monday through Friday we make it a priority to keep same and next-day openings available, and many patients are seen the day they reach out. Walk-ins work too, as long as you text first so we can confirm a slot. Video visits are another option.
Do I need a referral to be seen?
Usually not. Most patients book with us directly. A few insurance plans do ask for a referral, and our front desk can help you check.
What should I bring to my first visit?
A photo ID, your insurance card, and your current medication list cover the basics. Records or recent labs from a previous doctor are worth bringing as well, since they let us start from the full picture instead of from zero.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, and that includes Weatherford. Our office at 2111 Fort Worth Hwy is taking new adult patients now, as is Fort Worth, and we hold room on the schedule so your first visit is not weeks away.
MANT has been such a breath of fresh air. The staff is always on time, everything runs smoothly, and my PA Nicole Barnes goes above and beyond, the kindest and most thorough provider I’ve had. Easy online scheduling and labs on site.
A Weatherford Doctor Taking New Patients
Finding a doctor accepting new patients in Weatherford should not mean calling every office in town and then giving up and driving to Fort Worth. Medical Associates of North Texas has an office at 2111 Fort Worth Hwy, and it is open to new adult patients now. Each physician leading it is board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health, which means a first visit covers what adults actually deal with: blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, thyroid, asthma and COPD, and the way those conditions overlap in one person. The group model is the reason we have room. Four physicians, several physician assistants, and a family nurse practitioner share one schedule and one set of records, and we treat keeping same and next-day openings available, Monday through Friday, as a standing priority. Walk-ins are welcome on weekdays; text first so we can confirm a slot. Primary care doctor, internist, general practitioner: the names differ, the care is the same, an adult practice in Weatherford that is taking new patients, backed by a second office in Fort Worth.
Your First Visit At Our Weatherford Office
A first visit at the Weatherford office starts with time, not a clipboard and ten minutes with the doctor. Your provider goes through your history, every medication, and the problems you have been putting off. Bloodwork is drawn in the office, and many results come back during the visit, so the plan you leave with is based on numbers rather than guesses. If you have diabetes, a diabetic eye exam (retinal screening) can be done on site. Minor procedures, including skin biopsies, mole removal, liquid nitrogen treatment, joint injections, and ingrown toenail care, stay in house with our own providers rather than going out on referral. Surgery clearance is completed promptly with results forwarded to your surgeon, the practice arranges home sleep studies, well woman exams are provided by the female providers on the team, and medical weight loss is physician-guided, with GLP-1 medications prescribed when they are the right fit. Follow-ups that do not need an exam can happen by video. The care is led by Ravi Siripurapu, MD, Suresh Kankanala, MD, Ganesh Arun, DO, and Chandramohan Mudaliar, MD, all board-certified in internal medicine, doctors who specialize in adults, with physician assistants and a family nurse practitioner working from the same chart.
A great office with a very attentive staff. The providers always take their time and are incredibly thorough. I’ve been going here for about 10 years and will keep coming back.
Manpreet Rattan was so attentive to my concerns and genuinely caring. She took the time to explain everything and map out a plan to better my health, and the staff is lovely.

Our Weatherford office is at 2111 Fort Worth Hwy, Weatherford, TX 76086, and our Fort Worth office is at 1023 Lipscomb St, Suite 200, Fort Worth, TX 76104. Both are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and both answer the same phone and text number, 972-544-6600. Online scheduling shows current openings and lets you choose the office, the provider, and the type of visit, and the form on this page is there for anyone who wants to ask something first.
