Our Approach
We listen first, then we plan together
If you already have a doctor but leave each visit feeling hurried or handed yet another referral, you are not asking for too much. A good family doctor should know you. Our physicians are board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health, and the first thing they do with a new patient is listen: what you are dealing with, what you take, what has not worked so far. From there you get one plan and one team that keeps it current from one visit to the next.
Excellent care and a welcoming environment. The staff is professional, kind, and attentive from the moment you walk in, and the doctors take the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and truly care. Highly recommended for quality medical care in Fort Worth.
Why Choose Us
Why patients stay with us
Time to Actually Listen
One patient described Dr. Kankanala as "thorough, and never rushed." Another wrote that the doctors "take the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and truly care." That is the standard every provider here is held to, visit after visit.
Adult Specialists
Our four physicians are board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health, which is exactly the family doctor an adult needs. Physician assistants and a family nurse practitioner work alongside them.
Seen Soon, Not Next Month
Monday through Friday we hold room on the schedule for same and next-day visits, bloodwork is drawn here with many results before you leave, and telehealth covers follow-ups that do not need an exam.
Your Provider, Plus A Whole Team
You build a relationship with a provider who knows your history, and if that provider is out, another member of our team sees you with the same records in front of them.
Conditions We Treat
What we diagnose and manage for adults
Diabetes Care
Blood sugar managed by the doctor who knows the rest of your health: in-office labs, a diabetic eye exam on site, and a plan aimed at staying in range and avoiding complications.
Blood Pressure Control
Regular checks and treatment adjustments that bring high blood pressure down and protect your heart and kidneys over the long run.
Asthma, COPD & Breathing Problems
Asthma, COPD, bronchitis, pneumonia, and a cough that will not clear, diagnosed and managed by your primary care team instead of a referral across town.
Overlapping Chronic Conditions
When several conditions overlap, one team manages the whole picture, so medications and plans fit together rather than compete with each other.
Physician-Guided Weight Loss
Weight loss directed by a physician who also manages your overall health, and a GLP-1 medication where it is the right fit for you.
Colds, Flu & Infections
Colds, flu, sinus and ear infections, UTIs, rashes, and minor injuries, seen by a doctor who knows you; our patients often get in the same or next day instead of sitting in an ER.
Cholesterol & Heart Risk
Screening and ongoing treatment for high cholesterol and cardiovascular risk, reviewed at each visit so small changes are caught early.
Thyroid Disorders
Testing and medication for underactive and overactive thyroid, monitored alongside everything else we manage for you.
Our Services
What we handle in our offices
Physicals & Preventive Screenings
Yearly exams and the screenings that fit your age and history, so problems are found while they are still small.
Bloodwork Drawn Here
No trip to a separate lab: bloodwork is drawn here and many results come back during the visit itself, so your plan is not left waiting.
Same-Day Visits & Walk-Ins
Monday through Friday we keep room on the schedule for same-day care. Walking in is fine as well, but text us first so we can confirm a slot before you leave the house.
Video Visits From Home
When a follow-up or a question does not call for a hands-on exam, a secure video visit from home covers it; remote patient monitoring is available for the patients it suits.
Minor Procedures
Skin biopsies, mole removal, liquid nitrogen treatment, joint injections, and ingrown toenail care are done by our own providers, which saves you a referral and another wait.
Surgery Clearance & Pre-Op Physicals
Pre-surgery physicals and medical clearance handled promptly, with results forwarded to your surgeon so your date holds.

In their own words
Dr. Kankanala is top notch. Knowledgeable, listens to my concerns, explains things clearly, thorough, and never rushed. Very kind, couldn’t ask for a better doctor.
I was very pleased with the attention I received from Dr. Siri and his medical staff. A thorough exam, an understandable evaluation of my needs, and clear recommendations for next steps. Exactly the experience I was hoping for.
Manpreet Rattan is phenomenal. You can tell she truly cares about your health and well-being. A class act, thank you for the care and kindness you show your patients.
Meet Your Providers
The providers who will get to know you
Board-Certified Physicians, PAs & a Nurse Practitioner
Medical Associates of North Texas is a physician-led group, which means you have one provider who knows you and a full team standing behind that provider. The physicians are Ravi Siripurapu, MD, Suresh Kankanala, MD, Ganesh Arun, DO, and Chandramohan Mudaliar, MD, each board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health. Experienced physician assistants and a family nurse practitioner work alongside them.
As a group they cover what an adult brings to a family doctor: yearly physicals and preventive screenings, sudden illness, diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid, asthma and COPD, physician-guided weight loss, medication monitoring, and bloodwork drawn in the office.
Because everyone works from the same records and the same plan, a visit with any of them continues your care instead of starting it over, and another provider can see you when your usual one is away. Offices in Fort Worth and Weatherford, telehealth for follow-ups, and the room we keep for same and next-day openings make it easy to be seen.
When you do not know which provider to pick, a text describing what is going on is enough. We will point you to the right provider and the right visit type.

FAQ
Questions patients ask
Do you accept my insurance?
Most major insurance plans are accepted here. To avoid a surprise bill, text or call us ahead of your visit and we will check your coverage.
How quickly can I be seen?
Usually within a day or two. Room is held Monday through Friday for same and next-day visits, and getting in the same day you reach out is common. Walk-ins work too, as long as you text us first so we can confirm a slot. Video visits are an option when an exam is not needed.
Do I need a referral to be seen?
Usually not. You can book with us directly. The exception is a handful of insurance plans that require a referral; if you are unsure about yours, our front desk can look into it.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Your photo ID and insurance card, plus a list of what you take, supplements included. If you are switching from another doctor, records or recent lab results help us pick up where they left off instead of starting from scratch.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. Adults looking for a new doctor are welcome at both offices, Fort Worth and Weatherford, and new patients are not put on a weeks-long wait; we hold space on the schedule for first visits.
MANT has been such a breath of fresh air. The staff is always on time, everything runs smoothly, and my PA Nicole Barnes goes above and beyond, the kindest and most thorough provider I’ve had. Easy online scheduling and labs on site.
A Family Medicine Doctor Who Listens
Most adults who search for a family medicine doctor in Fort Worth are not looking for a new kind of medicine. They want a doctor who sits down, lets them finish a sentence, and explains what is going on without handing them a referral and showing them the door. That is the care Medical Associates of North Texas was built around. Our physicians are board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health, which is the right kind of family doctor for a grown-up: their training is in diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, thyroid problems, asthma, COPD, and heart risk, and in what happens when one person has several of them at once. We are an adult practice and do not see children, so every visit, every protocol, and every provider is set up for grown-up health. Patients notice the difference and say so on Google: “listens to my concerns, explains things clearly, thorough, and never rushed,” “the doctors take the time to listen,” “a thorough exam, an understandable evaluation of my needs, and clear recommendations for next steps.” Call us a family doctor, an internist, or a general practitioner; the point is the same, one team in Fort Worth that knows you and takes the time.
What A Visit Here Looks Like
A first visit starts with your history, not a checklist, and it is not over until you understand the plan. Then as much as possible happens under one roof. We draw bloodwork here and often have results before the visit ends, so decisions get made while you are still in the room rather than weeks later by phone. Skin biopsies, mole removal, liquid nitrogen treatment, joint injections, and ingrown toenail care are done by our own providers. Diabetic eye exams (retinal screening) are available on site, home sleep studies are arranged through the practice, and when you need surgery clearance it is done promptly and the results go straight to your surgeon. Weight loss is physician-guided; where a GLP-1 medication is the right fit it is prescribed here, after we check what your plan covers. Well woman exams and pap smears are provided by the female providers on the team, B12 injections and STD testing are done in the office, and a follow-up that needs no hands-on exam can happen by video. Behind all of it is one team, physicians, physician assistants, and a family nurse practitioner, working from the same records, so whoever you see continues your care.
A great office with a very attentive staff. The providers always take their time and are incredibly thorough. I’ve been going here for about 10 years and will keep coming back.
Manpreet Rattan was so attentive to my concerns and genuinely caring. She took the time to explain everything and map out a plan to better my health, and the staff is lovely.
Fort Worth And Weatherford
Our Fort Worth office is at 1023 Lipscomb St, Suite 200, Fort Worth, TX 76104, and our Weatherford office is at 2111 Fort Worth Hwy, Weatherford, TX 76086. Both are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and both answer the same phone and text number, 972-544-6600. At either office, the care is led by the same board-certified physicians. A text is how most new patients begin, and the reply confirms a time; if you prefer to book yourself, online scheduling lists current openings for each office, provider, and visit type; and questions can go through the form on this page. Most major insurance plans are accepted; text or call ahead and we will check your coverage before the first visit. More than 1,800 patients have rated the practice 4.8 stars on Google, and the same words repeat across reviews: “the kindest and most thorough provider I’ve had,” “the providers always take their time,” “took the time to explain everything and map out a plan.” We care for adults only. New patients are welcome at both offices, and first visits are not pushed weeks out; we keep room for them.
