- We Accept Most Major Insurance
Our Approach
A first visit that starts with listening
If you have called around Fort Worth and heard “not accepting new patients” more than once, this is a different kind of office. We hold space on the schedule for first visits, so a new patient is not waiting weeks, and we accept most major insurance plans; text or call ahead and we will check your coverage. Every physician here is board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health. The first appointment is spent on you: your history, your medications, what you want handled. From there you have a doctor, and a whole team behind that doctor.
Excellent care and a welcoming environment. The staff is professional, kind, and attentive from the moment you walk in, and the doctors take the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and truly care. Highly recommended for quality medical care in Fort Worth.
Why Choose Us
Why new patients choose us
New Patients Welcome Here
Both our Fort Worth and Weatherford offices are taking new adult patients, and we hold openings for first visits rather than adding you to a waitlist. Text us and we will find a time that works for you.
Adult Specialists
Our four physicians are board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health, so your new doctor trained on the conditions and medications adults actually carry. Physician assistants and a nurse practitioner work with them.
A Team, Not One Calendar
Choosing a group means the question of what happens if your doctor leaves or is out already has an answer: another provider here sees you, with the same records and the same plan.
Seen Sooner, Not Weeks Out
We prioritize keeping same and next-day openings available Monday through Friday, so a new patient who needs a refill or has a worry is not waiting a month to be seen.
Conditions We Treat
What we manage for new patients
Diabetes Care
Blood sugar checked with labs drawn in our office, a diabetic eye exam available on site, and a plan reviewed at each visit, picked up where your last doctor left off.
Blood Pressure Control
Readings tracked, medications adjusted, and your heart and kidneys protected over the long run, starting at your first visit.
Breathing & Lung Problems
Your primary care team here diagnoses and manages asthma, COPD, bronchitis, pneumonia, and a cough that has hung on for weeks.
Ongoing Chronic Conditions
When several conditions overlap, one practice keeps the whole picture, so each treatment accounts for the others instead of working against them.
Physician-Guided Weight Loss
Weight loss directed by a physician who manages your full health, with GLP-1 medications prescribed when they fit your situation.
Colds, Flu & Infections
Sinus and ear infections, UTIs, rashes, flu, and other sudden illness; our patients often get in the same or next day rather than heading to an ER.
Cholesterol & Heart Risk
Cholesterol checked and treated, and cardiovascular risk watched over time so rising numbers are caught early.
Thyroid Disorders
Underactive and overactive thyroid tested, treated, and followed as one part of your overall care.
Our Services
Services available from your first visit
New Patient Physicals & Wellness Exams
A thorough first checkup with preventive screenings, so your new doctor knows your baseline and catches problems early.
In-Office Bloodwork
Bloodwork is collected here instead of at a separate lab, and many results are back during the visit.
Same-Day Visits & Walk-Ins
Same-day openings are kept available Monday through Friday, and walk-ins are welcome; text us first so we can confirm a slot, since availability changes day to day.
Medication Refills & Management
Prescriptions from a previous doctor reviewed and continued where appropriate, with ongoing monitoring, so switching practices does not have to mean a gap in what you take.
Minor Procedures
Skin biopsies, mole removal, liquid nitrogen treatment, joint injections, and ingrown toenail care done by our own providers, which spares you a referral to someone else.
Surgery Clearance & Pre-Op Physicals
A pre-surgery physical and medical clearance handled promptly, with results sent to your surgeon, even if this is your first visit with us.

I was very pleased with the attention I received from Dr. Siri and his medical staff. A thorough exam, an understandable evaluation of my needs, and clear recommendations for next steps. Exactly the experience I was hoping for.
Manpreet Rattan is phenomenal. You can tell she truly cares about your health and well-being. A class act, thank you for the care and kindness you show your patients.
Meet Your Providers
The group you join as a new patient
Four Board-Certified Physicians and Their Team
Become a patient at Medical Associates of North Texas and you join a physician-led group rather than a single doctor’s waitlist. Ravi Siripurapu, MD, Suresh Kankanala, MD, Ganesh Arun, DO, and Chandramohan Mudaliar, MD are all board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health, and they practice alongside experienced physician assistants and a family nurse practitioner.
For a new patient, that group covers what a first year with a new doctor tends to involve: a baseline physical and preventive screenings, refills and medication management carried over from your previous doctor, diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, and thyroid care, breathing conditions, sudden illness, and bloodwork drawn in the office.
Your records and your plan are shared across the whole team, so if your own doctor is out, someone else here can see you without starting over. We also prioritize keeping same and next-day openings available Monday through Friday, which is part of why getting established usually does not take weeks. Fort Worth and Weatherford offices and telehealth visits add more ways to be seen.
If you are not sure who to book with first, text us or request an appointment online; tell us what you need and we will match you with the right provider.

FAQ
New patient questions
Do you accept my insurance?
Most major insurance plans are accepted here. Send your plan details by text or phone before your first visit and we will check your coverage, so you know where you stand.
How quickly can I be seen?
Sooner than most new patients expect. Keeping same and next-day openings available Monday through Friday is a priority for us, so new patients are usually not waiting weeks. You can also walk in on a weekday; text first so we can confirm a slot, since availability changes day to day. Telehealth is another option.
Do I need a referral to be seen?
Usually not; you can book with us directly. The exception is a plan that requires a referral, and if you are not sure whether yours does, our staff will check for you.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Your photo ID and insurance card, plus a list of what you take and the dosages; the bottles work fine. If you have records or lab results from a previous doctor, send those ahead, so your new provider starts from your full history rather than zero.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, at both Fort Worth and Weatherford. First visits get room on the schedule here, which is why becoming a patient usually does not mean a wait of weeks. Text us to get started.
MANT has been such a breath of fresh air. The staff is always on time, everything runs smoothly, and my PA Nicole Barnes goes above and beyond, the kindest and most thorough provider I’ve had. Easy online scheduling and labs on site.
Doctors Accepting New Patients In Fort Worth
Searching for a doctor accepting new patients in Fort Worth often turns into a string of calls that end the same way: the practice is full, or the first opening is months out. Medical Associates of North Texas is set up differently. We are a group of four physicians plus physician assistants and a nurse practitioner, which means the schedule has depth, and we treat keeping room for first visits as part of how the practice runs. Each of our physicians is board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health, which means a new patient arrives at a doctor trained on exactly what adults bring in: blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, thyroid, asthma and COPD, weight, and the way those conditions overlap. You may know this kind of doctor as an internist, a general practitioner, or simply a primary care doctor; here they are the same thing. Most major insurance plans are accepted, and a quick text lets us check your coverage before you come in. Patients come to us after a move, an insurance change, or a doctor’s retirement, and the first visit is built to pick up where the last one left off.
What Your First Visit Looks Like
Getting established starts before you walk in. Text us, request an appointment online through our scheduling system, or send a question through the form on this page; in each case we reply to confirm a time and check your insurance. On the day, bring a photo ID, your insurance card, your medication list, and any records or recent lab results from a previous doctor, so your new provider starts with your history rather than rebuilding it. The visit itself is unhurried. Your provider goes through your conditions, your prescriptions, and what you want addressed, then refills what should be continued and adjusts what should not. Because bloodwork is drawn in the office and many results are back during the visit, your provider can build the plan on current numbers. If you need a physical, a screening, a surgery clearance, or a minor procedure such as a skin biopsy or joint injection, those are handled in the same offices. You leave with a plan, a team that shares your records, and a next appointment already on the books if one is needed.
A great office with a very attentive staff. The providers always take their time and are incredibly thorough. I’ve been going here for about 10 years and will keep coming back.
Manpreet Rattan was so attentive to my concerns and genuinely caring. She took the time to explain everything and map out a plan to better my health, and the staff is lovely.

Our Google rating is 4.8 stars from more than 1,800 patients, and what they describe most often is a friendly, caring staff and providers who explain things without rushing. We see adults only.
