Our Approach
A doctor for every adult in your household
Many of the people who contact us are looking after more than their own health: a spouse’s appointments, a parent’s medications, their own checkup that keeps getting pushed back. We are built for that. Our four physicians are board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health, so every grown member of your family can see the same group with their history in the same records. We listen first, then plan. Text or call ahead and we will check your coverage before you come in.
Excellent care and a welcoming environment. The staff is professional, kind, and attentive from the moment you walk in, and the doctors take the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and truly care. Highly recommended for quality medical care in Fort Worth.
Why Choose Us
Why families choose our practice
Specialists in Adult Health
Every one of our four physicians is board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health, so your care and your parents' care rest on the same deep training. Alongside them are physician assistants and a nurse practitioner.
Never Hurried
Review after review repeats the same words: never rushed, took the time to listen, explained things clearly. We schedule so a visit can actually feel that way.
One Team for Your Family
Your spouse, your parent, and you can all be seen here by the same group, with each person's history in the same records. One phone number, one practice to remember.
Seen Fast When It Matters
We prioritize keeping same and next-day openings available Monday through Friday, so a sick parent or a worrying symptom does not sit for weeks. Follow-ups that do not need an exam can happen by telehealth.
Conditions We Treat
Conditions we manage for your family
Diabetes Care
A plan that keeps blood sugar in range, with the labs drawn here and a diabetic eye exam (retinal screening) available in our office rather than at a separate facility.
High Blood Pressure
Regular checks and medication adjusted over time, so hypertension stays controlled and your heart and kidneys stay protected.
Asthma, COPD & Breathing Issues
Your primary care team manages asthma, COPD, bronchitis, pneumonia, and a cough that will not quit, without sending you across town for routine breathing care.
Chronic Conditions, Together
When a parent or spouse lives with several conditions at once, one team manages all of them as a single plan.
Medical Weight Loss
Weight loss directed by a physician who knows your full health picture, including GLP-1 medications for the patients they suit.
Colds, Flu & Sudden Illness
Sinus and ear infections, UTIs, flu, rashes, and minor injuries are handled here; our patients often get in the same or next day, which beats a long ER wait.
Cholesterol & Heart Risk
Bloodwork, monitoring, and treatment to lower cholesterol and reduce heart risk for you and the adults you look after.
Thyroid Disorders
An underactive or overactive thyroid gets tested, treated with medication, and rechecked over time as part of your routine primary care here.
Our Services
Everyday care for every adult
Physicals & Wellness Visits
Yearly checkups and preventive screenings for each adult in the family, catching problems while they are still small.
In-Office Bloodwork
Labs are drawn here rather than at a separate facility, and many results come back during the visit itself.
Same-Day & Walk-In Care
We prioritize keeping same-day openings available Monday through Friday. If you plan to walk in, text us first so we can confirm a slot, and a sick day does not turn into a week of waiting.
Medication Review & Monitoring
Prescriptions reviewed and monitored at every visit, which matters most when a parent takes several medications from more than one doctor.
In-Office Procedures
Skin biopsies, mole removal, liquid nitrogen treatment, joint injections, and ingrown toenail care done by our own providers, with no extra referral to chase.
Telehealth Video Visits
When a parent cannot easily get to the office, a secure video visit covers a follow-up or a question that needs no hands-on exam.
What Patients Say
In our patients' own words
Dr. Kankanala is top notch. Knowledgeable, listens to my concerns, explains things clearly, thorough, and never rushed. Very kind, couldn’t ask for a better doctor.
I was very pleased with the attention I received from Dr. Siri and his medical staff. A thorough exam, an understandable evaluation of my needs, and clear recommendations for next steps. Exactly the experience I was hoping for.
Manpreet Rattan is phenomenal. You can tell she truly cares about your health and well-being. A class act, thank you for the care and kindness you show your patients.
Meet Your Providers
The team caring for the adults in your family
Four Board-Certified Physicians, One Coordinated Team
When you choose Medical Associates of North Texas as your family doctor, you are choosing a group rather than one appointment book. Ravi Siripurapu, MD, Suresh Kankanala, MD, Ganesh Arun, DO, and Chandramohan Mudaliar, MD, are all board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health, and they lead a team of experienced physician assistants and a family nurse practitioner.
Between them, they cover what the adults in a household tend to need: yearly physicals and screenings, sudden illness, diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, and thyroid care, breathing conditions, medication review for anyone on several prescriptions, medical weight loss, and bloodwork drawn in the office.
Because the whole team shares one set of records and one plan per patient, your spouse can see a physician assistant on Tuesday and your mother can see a physician on Thursday, and nothing gets lost in between. Two offices, Fort Worth and Weatherford, plus telehealth, and we prioritize keeping same and next-day openings available, so there is usually a way to be seen.
Picking a provider or a visit type is not something you have to work out alone: send us a text or request an appointment online and we will sort it out with you.

FAQ
Common questions, answered
Do you accept my insurance?
Most major insurance plans are accepted here. Send us a text or call before the visit and we will check your coverage, for you or for a family member.
How quickly can I be seen?
Usually fast. We prioritize keeping same and next-day openings available Monday through Friday; it is common for patients to get in the same or next day. If you would rather walk in, text us first so we can confirm a slot. Video visits are an option for follow-ups that do not need an exam.
Do I need a referral to be seen?
Usually not. Most people book straight with us. If your insurance plan is one of the few that asks for a referral, our front desk will help you work out what it needs.
What should I bring to my first visit?
A photo ID, your insurance card, and a current medication list, including anything a parent or spouse takes if you are helping with their visit. Prior records or recent lab results are welcome too; they give us the full picture from day one.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, at both the Fort Worth and Weatherford offices. New adult patients, and the adults in their households, are welcome, and we hold room on the schedule for new patients so a first visit is not weeks away.
MANT has been such a breath of fresh air. The staff is always on time, everything runs smoothly, and my PA Nicole Barnes goes above and beyond, the kindest and most thorough provider I’ve had. Easy online scheduling and labs on site.
A Family Doctor For Every Adult
If you are searching for a family doctor in Fort Worth, you probably want one practice that can look after you, your spouse, and your parents, and that remembers each of you from one visit to the next. That is what Medical Associates of North Texas does. To be clear, we care for adults only, and every grown member of the family is welcome here. All four of our physicians hold board certification in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health. Blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, thyroid, asthma and COPD, and the way several of them pile up in one person as the years go by: that is the center of their training. Yearly physicals keep each adult’s screenings current, sudden illness is handled fast, and we prioritize keeping same and next-day openings available Monday through Friday. Walk-ins work too; text us first so we can confirm a slot. Family doctor, internist, general practitioner: whatever you call it, the job is the same, adult primary care from one team that knows your family’s history.
What Gets Done In Our Office
A family of adults brings in a wide range of needs, and most of them are handled inside our office. Because bloodwork is drawn right here, and many results are back before the visit ends, a follow-up rarely has to wait on an outside lab. Skin biopsies, mole removal, liquid nitrogen treatment, joint injections, and ingrown toenail care are done by our own providers. Diabetic eye exams are available here for anyone managing diabetes, a home sleep study can be set up through us, and when a surgeon needs clearance before an operation, we complete the pre-surgery physical promptly and send the results over. Medical weight loss is guided by a physician who monitors your labs, with GLP-1 medications prescribed when they fit. Well woman exams and pap smears are provided by the female providers on our team, B12 injections and STD testing are available, and for a follow-up that does not call for a hands-on exam, a telehealth video visit can take the place of a drive in. Medications get reviewed at every visit, which matters when a parent is taking prescriptions from more than one doctor and nobody has looked at the whole list in a while.
A great office with a very attentive staff. The providers always take their time and are incredibly thorough. I’ve been going here for about 10 years and will keep coming back.
Manpreet Rattan was so attentive to my concerns and genuinely caring. She took the time to explain everything and map out a plan to better my health, and the staff is lovely.
Fort Worth And Weatherford
Our Fort Worth office is at 1023 Lipscomb St, Suite 200, Fort Worth, TX 76104, and our Weatherford office is at 2111 Fort Worth Hwy, Weatherford, TX 76086. Both are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and both answer the same phone and text number, 972-544-6600, which makes it easy to coordinate visits for more than one person in the household. The same board-certified physicians lead care at each location. A text is how most patients begin, and the reply confirms a time. If you prefer to book yourself, online scheduling lists the current openings by office, provider, and visit type, and there is a form on this page for a question you want answered before you book. We accept most major insurance plans, and a quick text or call ahead lets us check coverage before the first visit. On Google, more than 1,800 patients have given the practice 4.8 stars, and the comments come back to the same things: friendly staff, caring doctors, clear explanations, nobody rushed. New patients are welcome at both offices, and because we hold space for new patients on the schedule, a first appointment does not mean a wait of weeks.
Bring Your Family's Care Here
