Same Day Doctor in Fort Worth

A primary care team that keeps room on the schedule for today

Our Approach

Sick today should not mean waiting until next week

When you wake up sick, the question is simple: who can see you today. For our patients, the same day doctor in Fort Worth is usually their own primary care team. We prioritize keeping same and next-day openings available Monday through Friday, so an acute visit does not turn into an emergency room wait or a clinic that has never seen you before. The provider you see belongs to a group led by physicians board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health, with your records already in front of them. Text us first and we will confirm a slot.

Excellent care and a welcoming environment. The staff is professional, kind, and attentive from the moment you walk in, and the doctors take the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and truly care. Highly recommended for quality medical care in Fort Worth.

Why Choose Us

Why sick patients come here first

Room Kept for Today

Same and next-day openings are a standing priority on our schedule Monday through Friday, and our patients often get in the day they reach out. Send a text before you come in and we will confirm a slot.

Your Doctors

An acute visit here is handled by the same group that manages your ongoing health, led by physicians board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health. Nothing gets lost between visits.

Labs Drawn During the Visit

Bloodwork is drawn in our office rather than sent across town, and many results come back during the visit, so an infection or a flare-up gets a plan before you leave.

More Providers, More Openings

Four physicians, physician assistants, and a nurse practitioner share one schedule and one set of records, so when your usual doctor is booked, another provider can step in.

Conditions We Treat

What we treat on short notice

Minor Injuries

Sprains, strains, and small injuries from a fall or a weekend project, assessed by a provider who knows when rest is enough and when more is needed.

Colds & Flu

Fever, aches, congestion, and the flu that arrived overnight, evaluated in person so you know what will actually help.

Sinus & Ear Infections

Facial pressure, ear pain, and infections that will not clear on their own, diagnosed in the office and treated with the right medication when one is needed.

Urinary Tract Infections

Burning, urgency, and the discomfort of a UTI, with in-office labs to confirm it and treatment started during the same visit when appropriate.

Cough, Bronchitis, Pneumonia

A cough that is getting worse or lingering past a cold, examined to tell bronchitis from pneumonia and treat it early.

Rashes & Skin Problems

New rashes, irritated skin, and suspicious spots looked at promptly, with skin biopsy and liquid nitrogen treatment available in our office when needed.

Asthma & COPD Flare-Ups

Worsening wheezing or shortness of breath, managed by the team that already follows your asthma or COPD, not someone reading your chart cold.

Ingrown Toenails

A painful or infected ingrown toenail is handled in our office by our own providers, not sent somewhere else.

Our Services

How we get you seen and treated

Weekday Walk-Ins, Text First

Weekday walk-ins are welcome; text us before you leave so we can confirm a slot, since openings vary by day.

Telehealth Video Visits

Secure video visits for questions, medication adjustments, and follow-ups that do not need a hands-on exam, when staying home is the right call.

Same-Day & Next-Day Visits

Acute visits are a scheduling priority Monday through Friday. Text us what is going on and we will look for the earliest opening, often the same or next day, so you are not waiting a week to be seen.

In-Office Labs & Bloodwork

Bloodwork is drawn here during your visit, with many results back while you are still in the room, so treatment can start sooner rather than after a call days later.

Minor Procedures

Skin biopsies, liquid nitrogen treatment, joint injections, and ingrown toenail care done by our own providers in the office, without a separate referral or a second trip.

Follow-Up With Your Team

After an acute visit, the same group checks on your recovery and folds it into your ongoing care.

Meet Your Providers

A full group, so there is usually an opening

Physician-Led Care From a Coordinated Team

A same-day visit at Medical Associates of North Texas is handled by a group, not squeezed onto one doctor’s calendar. Four physicians lead the practice: Ravi Siripurapu, MD, Suresh Kankanala, MD, Ganesh Arun, DO, and Chandramohan Mudaliar, MD, each board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health. Physician assistants and a family nurse practitioner work alongside them under physician supervision.

That group covers what brings adults in on short notice as well as what keeps them coming back: colds, flu, and infections; cough, bronchitis, and asthma or COPD flare-ups; rashes and minor injuries; in-office labs; and the ongoing management of diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, and medications once the acute problem has passed.

Because every provider here reads the same chart and follows the same plan, an acute visit with whoever has the opening still counts as a visit with your own practice. Between the Fort Worth office, the Weatherford office, telehealth, and a standing priority on same and next-day openings, there is usually a way in.

Text our team and tell us what is going on. We will match you with the right provider and the earliest opening.

FAQ

Questions patients ask

Do you accept my insurance?

Most major insurance plans are accepted here. Send a quick text or call before you come in and we will check your coverage first.

Often the same day. Keeping same and next-day openings available Monday through Friday is a standing priority, and many patients who text in the morning are seen that day. Weekday walk-ins work too; text ahead so we can confirm a slot. A telehealth visit may be even quicker when no exam is needed.

Usually not. Most patients book directly with us by text or online. A few insurance plans do require one, and our front office can help you check.

A photo ID, your insurance card, and your current medications or a list of them. If you are coming in sick, a note on when symptoms started and what you have already tried helps us move faster.

Yes, new adult patients are welcome at our Fort Worth and Weatherford offices, including patients whose first visit is a sick visit. We keep room on the schedule so you are not waiting weeks.

MANT has been such a breath of fresh air. The staff is always on time, everything runs smoothly, and my PA Nicole Barnes goes above and beyond, the kindest and most thorough provider I’ve had. Easy online scheduling and labs on site.

Primary Care That Keeps Room for Today

Searching for a same day doctor in Fort Worth usually happens at the worst moment: you are sick, your regular doctor’s next opening is in two weeks, and the alternatives are an emergency room bill or a clinic that has never seen you before. Medical Associates of North Texas is built as a third option. We are an adult primary care practice led by physicians board-certified in internal medicine, the specialty built around adult health, and we treat keeping same and next-day openings available Monday through Friday as a standing priority rather than a lucky break. That matters for the obvious reasons (colds, flu, sinus and ear infections, UTIs, rashes, a worsening cough, a sprain), but it matters more for the people whose acute problem sits on top of a chronic one: a COPD flare, an infection in someone with diabetes, a new symptom in a patient already on several medications. In those cases a provider who can see the whole chart is not a convenience. It is better medicine. Text us first and we will confirm a slot at our Fort Worth office on Lipscomb Street.

What a Sick Visit Looks Like Here

The day starts with a text to 972-544-6600 describing what is going on. Our front office replies to confirm a time, or, if you would rather walk in, lets you know whether a slot is open before you make the drive. At the visit a provider examines you, asks about the history behind the symptom, and checks what else in your chart could be involved. If bloodwork is needed it is drawn in the office, and many results come back during the visit, so treatment for an infection or a flare-up can start before you leave rather than after a phone call two days later. Minor problems that often get bounced to a specialist, an ingrown toenail, a suspicious spot that needs a skin biopsy, a joint that needs an injection, are handled by our own providers. You leave with a clear plan, prescriptions sent, and a follow-up arranged, by telehealth if a hands-on exam is not needed. Because the group shares one set of records, your regular provider sees everything that happened, and the acute visit becomes part of your ongoing care instead of a loose end.

A great office with a very attentive staff. The providers always take their time and are incredibly thorough. I’ve been going here for about 10 years and will keep coming back.

Manpreet Rattan was so attentive to my concerns and genuinely caring. She took the time to explain everything and map out a plan to better my health, and the staff is lovely.

Fort Worth and Weatherford Offices

Our Fort Worth office is at 1023 Lipscomb St, Suite 200, Fort Worth, TX 76104, with a second office at 2111 Fort Worth Hwy, Weatherford, TX 76086. Both are open in person Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and both answer the same phone and text number, 972-544-6600. Weekends are telehealth only; there are no in-person visits on Saturday or Sunday. Each location is led by the same four board-certified physicians, and a patient of one office can be seen at the other with the same records. For a sick visit, texting is the fastest route; online scheduling shows live openings by office, provider, and visit type; and the question form on this page works for anything less pressing. Most major insurance plans are accepted, and we will check your coverage before you arrive if you text or call ahead. On Google, 4.8 stars from more than 1,800 patients point to the same things: friendly staff, providers who listen, and visits that never feel rushed. We see adults only. New patients are welcome, sick or well.
